TIRELESS FATIGUE

Fatigue- Luro's art

secrets sneak out
of my mind
that's how they break rules
eyes hold reality
behind rose-colored glasses
the nose sniffs
so as to get lost
in the blanket
of an unknown fragrance
bored ears do not listen
tongue tied in knots
any utterance is forbidden
yet lips whisper
sweet-nothings to themselves
all the teeth go numb
in the cold before spring
necks twists and turns
till it can't anymore
the back breaks
every now and then
and is whole again
flailing arms
try to catch the air
seven hundred unsuccessful attempts
all the same, the game never ends
the stomach is still a cocoon
that holds the butterfly safely inside
legs sway and dance
to a beat they don't know
tired toes hate to give in
to the tireless fatigue.
